This past year, we’ve observed a growing trend of live concerts online at popular social media sites such as YouTube and Facebook. All of these concerts were free to watch, including big name music artists like U2 and Alicia Keys. Why do such well-known, mega-successful bands do this sort of thing when they can easily draw huge crowds of fans willing to pay good money for tickets?

If you tend to be a pretty indecisive person, you might want to give Polar a try. It's a new iPhone app that lets users quickly set up polls to get feedback on timely issues ranging from which DP should I hire (i.e. Mr. Brown or Mr. Green?") to which is a better logline (i.e. "Logline A or Logline B?"). Each poll is set up to be a choice between two polar opposite responses (hence the app's name).
